Study program

Hi bloggers!

Today I’m going to talk about my study program. I study Engineering in Natural Renewable Resources and this career lasts 5 years (only if you are a machine).
Well, when I start with the career I think all the subjects are great and beautiful. But,  during these three years I realized study program have some faults. The first thing I don’t agree is the length of study. I think no one finish our career in this time and it’s so stressful  think about do the impossible for  don’t fall behind and don’t lost the scholarships.  I know I will not finish in 5 years and I will have to postulate to a credit for continue to my studies and It is so sad. The second thing I see in my study program are some subjects are in a wrong place. For example,  in fifth semester we have a subject called “Physics II”. I considered this subjects don’t have to be an obligatory asignature and it has to be a elective, because is a very specific subjects and only the people who likes the topic of energy  have to know.  The third and last thing I’m going to say about this is that my career  have to consider how do some classes. I say that because there are some subjects where just give us information and put in our minds a lot of words when really we need practice or the practice would be a better way to teach (for example, microbiology). I know the university is  responsable for this situation, because they don’t give us  a big budget to progress with the infrastructure or buy tools for learn in a didactic way.
But it’s not all bad, there are many teachers with vocation and with all the energy to do differents things with the resources we have, like Fuster! For me, he’s the best teacher ever.

I see you soon!

Bye Bye.

  2. I totally agree with you, the university should have better infrastructures and tools to emphasize the practical area, rather than theory.
